Wine Tasting and Ancient Corinth

Driving along the coastal road and reach the Corinth Canal. Drive to Ancient Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached. Ancient Corinth was one of the most important cities of ancient Greece. Continue to visit one of the most famous vineries of Nemea, place of the ancient Nemean games . Greece may well possess first place in the hierarchy of countries known for their tradition in viticulture. Not only is this due to Greeks producing wine since the Neolithic Age - 4000 B.C. - but also to the fact that wine has long been adored, praised and chanted in the name of the God Dionysus.
 Nowadays, Greek wine production, abiding by tradition but invigorated by modem technology, offers a wide variety of fine wines. Nemea is one of the most popular vineyards in Greece. Visit the winery facilities and learn about the production of Greek quality red wine and then proceed to the underground cellars with more than 1000 French oak barrels. Finally taste some of the best wines of the domain..

Drive through Thebes to Levadia. On the way to Delphi visit of the Monastery of Osios Loukas, and admire the beautiful golden wall mosaics of the 11th century AD. Arrive to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world and the centre of political life. After a short break and check in to the hotel, free time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Corinthian Gulf. Later in the afternoon drive to Arachova, a picturesque mountain village built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets rugs and quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese and have time for shopping.
Overnight stay in Delphi.
2nd DAY:
After breakfast visit the Museum and the Ancient Sanctuary of God Apollo. Pass by Castalia Spring and visit the Archaeological Site: the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle and the Museum of Delphi. Short break in Delphi return to Athens via Arachova, Levadia and Thebes.
Operated daily. Return next day at 17.00 pm.

Two Days Argolis
1st DAY:

Drive to the Corinth Canal and short stop for pictures. Afterwards visit of Ancient Corinth. Continue to visit the Archaeological Site of Mycaenae and the tomb of Agamemnon. Proceed to Nafplion. Afternoon free for a visit to the Venetian fortress of Palamidi, crowning the city or alternatively go swimming. Optional visit to the National Gallery. The National Gallery in Nafplion is housed in a historical building and has a permanent collection comprising works inspired from the Greek War of independence against the Turks.
Overnight stay in Nauplia in a 4* hotel.
2nd DAY:
Morning free for a walk to the old city with its neoclassic houses and picturesque streets. Furthermore you can visit the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation Museum, "V. Papantoniou", which received the European Museum of the year Award. Around noon depart, for Epidaurus to visit the ancient theatre. In the afternoon return to Athens.
Operated: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, return and ends at 17.00 pm the next afternoon at your hotel.

1st DAY:

Two hours at your leisure or an optional visit to the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Delphi. In the afternoon depart through Central Greece and the cities of Lamia, Triakala to Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks, and crowned by the Meteora Monasteries.
Overnight stay in Kalambaka in a 4* hotel.
2nd DAY:
Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the Byzantine Monasteries. Return to Athens passing by the monument of Leonidas in Thermopylae.

One Day Cruise to the Saronic Islands
07.30 am
Departure from your hotel by luxurious air-conditioned bus and English speaking escort.
Arrival at the Port of Piraeus and embark. The ship departs at 8:15 am from the Port of Piraeus near Athens where passengers are welcome by the professional multilingual tour leaders in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
At 9:30 am the vessel arrives in Aegina island. At the reception desk passengers may obtain shore excursion tickets to the magnificent 5th century BC Classical Greek Temple of Afaea, rising above a breathtaking scenery of dark green pine trees and deep blue sea. The three temples of Afaea: Aegina, Parthenon: Acropolis and Poseidon: Cape Sounion form the famous 'Golden Mean Triangle'. Other options include a guided tour of the island and visit to the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nektarios. A bustling fish market, floating fruit market and Aegina's pistachio nuts are other attractions awaiting visitors.
Next port of call, the little island of Poros. Walk along winding streets, among rich pine forest and lemon trees to the top of a panoramic tower clock view of the Peloponnese. Alternatively you may wish to relax at a portside cafe and enjoy the scenery.
Finally, Hydra island. Enjoy one of the most cosmopolitan of Greek islands. The favourite of the international jet-set and an artist retreat dotted with art galleries, its narrow picturesque streets (no cars allowed on the island), white washed houses, stores of folklore art and jewellery, local delicacies, crystal waters and multiple cliff face views justly make this island a jewel of the Aegean Sea. Ideal for shopping, swimming and photographs.
On the way to the Port of Piraeus, passengers are invited to the main lounge to enjoy our international live orchestra and local Greek folk dances. Our main aim is the entertainment of all our passengers.

Rodos: the island of Helios
The island of Rhodes is situated at the crossroads of two major sea routes of the Mediterranean between the Aegean Sea and the coast of the Middle East, as well as Cyprus and Egypt. The meeting point of three continents, it has known many civilizations.
Throughout its long history the different people who settled on Rhodes left their mark in all aspects of the island's culture: art, language, architecture.
Rhodes is the largest island in the Dodecanese. Its capital city, located at its northern tip, is the capital of the Prefecture with the Medieval Town in its centre. In 1988 the Medieval Town was designated as a World Heritage City, constructed by the Knights of St. John, who left the island for Malta after 300 years of stay.

Thessaloniki: the Princess of Thermaikos
The Metropolitan area of Thessaloniki and its neighbouring municipalities has a population of one million and hosts a numerous administrative and public services, as well as numerous socio-economic organizations, industries, manufactures and department stores. Due to its vital position and its harbour, the city became a nodal point for the growth of commercial transactions and a multicultural city.
